Below image taken using a simple digital video recorder (highly filtered). Location at Sir Patrick Moore's private observatory whilst BBC TV filmed the great historic event. Over 100 people were present at Sir Patrick's and a large variety of telescopes were used. The BLACKDROP was seen through older telescopes but was not apparent in the most modern one's. Nothing of it was seen in the light of hydrogen Alfa. This means that the past theory that it was caused by the atmosphere of Venus is totally wrong. Images by J.R.F. at Selsey. UK.
